Now in its 26th season, our Gift to the Community series continues to feature some of the world's most exciting young artists. Four performers from our previous seasons have won 1st prize at the coveted Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, and 10 series performers have been awarded highly competitive Avery Fisher Career Grants. This season the three artists will astound you with their unique creativity and incomparable technique.

American violinist Oliver Neubauer is a YCA Jacobs Fellow as First Prize winner of the 2023 Susan Wadsworth Young Concert Artists International Auditions. Impacting audiences around the world with his uniquely beautiful playing and mature artistry, Oliver has been described as “grippingly precise and gleaming” by the San Francisco Classical Voice.

Bio
Michael Yeung is a unique percussion artist equally comfortable as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral performer, and his career has taken him across the United States, Europe, and Asia. His solo recitals include a wide repertoire of music from the Baroque to the 21st century. As a chamber musician, he has appeared with the internationally acclaimed Percussion Collective in the world-premiere of Argentinian composer Alejandro Viñao’s Poems and Prayers, performing alongside many of today’s most important young percussionists.

Bio
Cellist James Baik has been described as an artist with "an undeniable authority," and one possessing "a real warmth emerging in lyricism" by Belgian newspaper Le Soir, after his astounding performance at the 2021 Queen Elisabeth competition. First prize winner of the 2023 Susan Wadsworth Young Concert Artists International Auditions and recipient of the Paul A. Fish Memorial Prize and the Bridgehampton Chamber Music Prize, James is a YCA Jacobs Fellow and is managed worldwide by Young Concert Artists.
