Silverman Scholarship Awards

Every year we award a scholarship to a promising Western New York high school senior pursuing a career in music. Past winners of the award, named in honor of Clare and Oscar Silverman, have attended music schools including Juilliard, the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, the Eastman School of Music, the Oberlin Conservatory, the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Curtis Institute and the Manhattan School of Music. From there, some have gone on to careers in music performance and others devoted themselves to teaching the next generation of musicians.
